How to Use Metal Candle Holders:
1) Lighting:
- After lighting, allow at least 30-60 minutes for the surface of the candle to melt into liquid wax. This will ensure more even burning. The diffusion effect varies depending on the fragrance, so the waiting time will also differ.
- Before each lighting, trim the candle to about 0.6 cm and clean up any debris from the previous burn.
- Do not use for more than 4-5 hours at a time. Stop using the candle when the wax level reaches 1/4 of the way up.
- If the hardened wax at the edge has not melted after about 2 hours of continuous burning, gently rotate the candle cup to allow the melted wax to contact the unmelted area, preventing tunneling.
- Burning tests have shown that the thickness of the metal cup will not cause it to overheat, but it is still recommended not to move or touch the cup during burning. Wait 20-30 minutes after extinguishing the candle before moving it.
2) Using the wax melting lamp:
- Adjust according to the equipment instructions, maintaining a distance of approximately 6-10 cm between the lamp head and the wax surface; too close will cause overheating, too far will weaken the aroma.
- The aroma will begin to be released after 20-30 minutes of heating. It is not recommended to use it for more than 3 hours at a time to avoid overheating the cup and wax, and deteriorating the aroma.
- Do not touch or move the lamp during or after use. Wait at least 20-30 minutes for it to cool down before moving it.
- If the wax surface is heated for a long time, it is normal for the fragrance to fade. You can wait for the wax to cool and harden completely, then scrape off the top 1-2mm and discard it (or you can burn it to allow the wax to evaporate). Once the "fresh" wax surface underneath is exposed, the fragrance will be more pronounced.
