The pure lapis lazuli light of Bhaisajyaguru burns blazingly, bringing about worldly light and transcendental light. Shakyamuni Buddha encouraged sentient beings with faith to be reborn in the Pure Land of Bhaisajyaguru. The sutra states, "All good men and women who have faith should wish to be reborn in that Buddha's world."
